The required equipment and services must include, but are not limited to: 1. Ice skating rink and dasher boards with a mat system measuring 80 feet x 50 feet of skating surface, which must fit within a 95 ft. x 65 ft. parameter space in the Joe Burke Pavilion. 2. All tools and equipment necessary for unloading, assembling, maintaining, and removing the rink and related components. 3. A 200-ton air-cooled chiller and pump to maintain proper ice conditions. 4. All ice-making equipment needed to create and maintain a quality ice surface. 5. A detailed plan of action outlining the steps the contractor will take to keep the ice frozen under normal South Texas weather conditions excluding severe weather. 6. Qualified contractor managers and staff to oversee the proper operation, maintenance, and safety of the ice rink. 7. Rubber matting for the skate-changing areas, including coverage for all exposed concrete around the rink perimeter and pavilion entrance to ensure skater safety. 8. A minimum of 200 ice skates in various sizes for public use. 9. A secure skate shack for skate distribution, equipped with a lockable storage area for securing skates after hours.
