The Contractor shall provide Patient Wayfinding Consulting Services ("Services" or "services") for LA General, including architectural programming and design, to update the current medical center signage. The Services are to be completed within twelve (12) months of the Work Order execution. The specific Services to be provided shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 3.1 Contractor shall develop an assessment of the current Wayfinding of the interior and exterior of LA General. The assessment findings will be presented by the Contractor to the LA General executive leadership team. The assessment must minimally include the following: a. Surveys, including navigation and physical surveys of the facility; b. In-house focus groups with patients and staff; c. Onsite observation from multiple vantage points to evaluate satisfaction; d. Assessment of existing exterior and interior signage, including main paths of travel; and e. Evaluation of the adequacy of signs, including the number, location, message, font type, and font size. 3.2 Contractor shall provide recommendations on ways to improve LA General’s current Patient Wayfinding, meeting the California Department of Health Care Access (HCAI) and Information requirements and Department of Health Services (DHS) standards where applicable.
