• All existing pavements will be reclaimed to a minimum depth of eight inches (8”) followed by regrading of the roadbed to attain a crown of 2.5% or .25 inches (.25”) per foot. Prior to beginning reclaiming, excess shoulder materials will be removed where at, or higher than, existing pavements to accommodate grading work and the addition of loam upon completion of paving. • Roadbeds will then be watered and compacted to 95% compaction, which the Town may opt to test prior to paving. All shoulders should then again be cleaned of excess material to allow for placement of four inches (4”) of screened loam. • Any basins in the roadway, or those marked for repair, will be repaired and adjusted for new pavements, with finish height to be within one half inch (1/2”) of finish pavements. Vendor will supply grates, which are to be Neenah R-3570-A ring and grates. Six inch (6”) risers will be used in lieu of bricks where depth allows, rings will be supplied by the Town. All repaired catch basins will be cemented during the adjustment. There are also catch basins in the shoulders that may or may not need to be adjusted based on surrounding topography or as determined by Town staff.
