FDLE’s mission is to promote public safety and strengthen domestic security by providing services in partnership with local, state, and federal criminal justice agencies to prevent, investigate, and solve crimes while protecting Florida’s citizens pursuant to Chapter 943, FS, and Chapter 11, FAC. The SmartCop software is deployed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Captial Police utilizing the SmartCop SmartMCT solution. This solution is designed specifically to improve public safety and productivity by breaking down long and sometimes complex processes into easy-to-use solutions. SmartMCT improves safety and efficiency by providing Live CAD display, silent self-dispatching capabilities, all mapping and routing, and state and local searches. Including the SmartMap feature will provide integrated ESRI GIS maps, offering both online and offline access with local maps available when cellular data is unavailable, display unit locations and status along with the capability to easily mark locations and view all active calls for service.
