1. Review and evaluate public works construction plans and specifications as required. 2. Planning and design of public works construction projects and preparation of construction specifications and budgets as required. 3. Assist the City to comply with relevant permitting requirements. 4. Assist in the bidding and awarding of construction contracts as required. 5. Provide clerk-of-the-works or full construction management services as required. 6. Review and report on definitive subdivision plans as directed by the Gardner Planning Board. 7. Provide construction inspection of subdivisions under construction to ensure design compliance with City Specifications. Services to be performed at the discretion of the Planning Board. 8. Develop cost estimates to complete the installation of ways and utilities within subdivisions to establish performance guarantees pursuant to M.G.L., Ch. 41, Section 81-U and as directed by the Planning Board. 9. Conduct environmental site assessments using MA DEP methodologies and protocols.
