All materials, equipment, or products that will be in contact with drinking water (potable water) shall be tested and certified as “lead-free” per California Health and Safety Code Section 116875 and NSF 61 Annex G or NSF 372. 3. All chemicals that will be in contact with drinking water shall be certified by NSF to NSF/ANSI Standard 60. 4. For materials: a. Documentation which demonstrates current NSF/ANSI Standard 61 certification shall be submitted by the bidder in their bid package. b. If awarded, contractor is responsible for informing the District within 5 days, if and when their certification lapses or expires. Failure to inform the District within the allotted time will be sufficient grounds for immediate termination of the contract. 5.
