The Chief of Staff of the City of Amesbury, at the direction of the Mayor, is soliciting responses from interested parties regarding the disposition, by sale, of surplus municipal buildings and land situated on two adjoining parcels for the purpose of redevelopment that is in accordance with the City of Amesbury Zoning regulations and any legislative limitations placed upon the property. The two adjoining parcels are located at 5 School Street and 9 School Street in Amesbury, Massachusetts. The parcel at 5 School Street consists of an approximately 2,160 square foot existing building on an 0.13-acre parcel of land. The parcel at 9 School Street consists of an approximately 8,535 square foot existing building, formerly known as the Ordway School, on an 0.53-acre parcel of land. Both parcels are situated within the City’s Central Business District zoning district.
