Installation of Luxury Vinyl Tile Flooring to meet manufacturer’s recommendations, such as: • Trowelable Leveling and Patching Compounds: Latex-modified, Portland cement based or blended hydraulic-cement-based formulation. • Install with Tarkett adhesive specified for the site conditions (Tarkett 959 HM Adhesive or Tarkett 975 Two-Part Urethane Adhesive and follow adhesive label for proper use. • Follow Tarkett’s recommendation for tile orientation. • Open enough cartons of floor tiles to cover each area, and mix tile to ensure shade variations do not occur within any one area. • Roll the flooring in both directions using a 100 pound three-section roller. Installation of Carpet to meet manufacturer’s recommendations, such as: • Install with Commercialon® Premium Modular Pressure Sensitive Adhesive full spread adhesive system. • Tile placement arrows are embossed or printed on the module backing to show pile direction. To ensure proper alignment, check spacing every ten modules • It is very important to install carpet modules in the order they were manufactured; this is easily accomplished by selecting pallets in sequential order and following the numbers located on each bundle. • Roll the flooring with 75-100 lb. roller after completion of installation.
