The City of Savannah is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering services for various capital projects to be performed on a non-exclusive, indefinite quantity basis, as requested by the City. All proposers shall demonstrate that they have the knowledge, ability, skills, and resources to provide such services in accordance with the terms and requirements of this agreement. The scope of work will consist of MEP engineering services for projects based on hourly rates of the contract. Work will be agreed upon through submission and approval of individual project proposals. Typical City of Savannah facilities include HVAC systems, elevators, fire sprinklers and alarms, switch gears, and other systems in existing facilities, and a number of critical systems for City facilities requiring assessment for emergency management use. Desired services may include work related to renovations or new construction. The firm will need to be able to provide an on-call engineer who would be able to respond to an emergency within 120 minutes (two (2) hours). The emergency contact engineer shall be a Georgia licensed Professional Engineer (PE) The City will allow sub-consultants for this project. The City reserves the right to award primary, secondary, and tertiary contractors.
