A. Respondent’s staff shall have an initial meeting with the youth at an agreed upon location to discuss the process and expectations of the intervention program within 10 business days of the referral. Respondent’s staff shall complete a behavioral health assessment for each youth within 10 business days of the referral. B. Respondent’s intervention and diversion services to be provided for youth alleged to have committed the delinquent act of theft in the 5th degree shall include: • Attending one of ten monthly shoplifting course sessions offered by the Respondent throughout the year. This session should be held for no less than one hour with guest speakers to include law enforcement, merchants, JCS, and/or agencies specializing in the counseling of children. A feedback survey at the end of the session from the youth and/or parent/ guardian is encouraged of the Respondent to gauge the program’s success.
