Gas Chromatograph – Mass Spectrometer 1. Availability: a. The instrument technology must have been sold on the worldwide market for a minimum of 6 months. b. The entire instrument system must be delivered and installed at the AUTHORITY laboratory facility within 30 business days after the bid award. c. If the purchased instrument does not meet the required methods performance criteria after installation at the AUTHORITY laboratory, the AUTHORITY retains the right to return the instrument, all accessories and equipment to the SUCCESSFUL BIDDER for a full refund. 2. Matrices Analyzed: a. Wastewater-domestic and industrial b. Non-potable waters such as surface water, streams and stormwater c. Aside from unusually contaminated samples, the instrument shall be able to switch between matrices without requiring instrument maintenance. 3. Dimensions: a. The counter space available for the GC-MS and Tekmar Atomx XYZ is 144 inches wide by 28 inches deep. There are no height restrictions. b. All bidders are responsible to verify counter space dimensions with AUTHORITY laboratory personnel. c. Clearance needed for instrument maintenance must be taken into consideration for available bench space.
