1. Uncouple rotating assembly from drive motor and disconnect rotating assembly from volute (if needed). 2. Arrange transport services for the removal and subsequent return of the pump to CRWS, TCWSP and DCRWS. The SUCCESSFUL BIDDER shall be responsible for any damages incurred to the pump during removal and installation, in transport and while in custody at their facilities. 3. Inspect and assess the condition of the baseplate and the volute immediately after pump removal (if needed). 4. Shall install a cover for the opening after the pump is removed to protect personnel from accidently falling and to prevent unwanted debris from entering the volute. the cover shall be fastened down or fixed in some fashion to prevent accidental movement (if needed). 5. Completely disassemble the pump at their facility. Blast and clean surfaces to assess material conditions. 6. Record critical clearances, shaft runout and photograph components as found for inclusion in the inspection report. 7. Submit an inspection report along with a repair estimate for actual parts needed based on the estimated parts costs, for each pump.
