The Idaho Department of Fish and Game, Through DOP, is seeking bids from qualified vendors for to raise rainbow trout at the Idaho Fish and Game (IDFG) leased Briggs Creek Hatchery in Hagerman, Idaho for stocking in Idaho waters. Vendors are required to staff the hatchery, provide all needed triploid eggs and fingerling, all feed for fish production from fingerling to full grow out. The Fish Culturist must be responsible for controlling the environment such as adjusting water flows, cleaning rearing units, and creating feeding schedules to optimize growth and survival rates. The Fish Culturist must monitor the health of the fish populations and must take steps to prevent and control disease. Contractor staff must be on call twenty-four (24) hours a day and must respond in person to an emergency within twenty (20) minutes. The Contractor must provide and raise the Riverence Rainbow Trout strain triploid eggs.
