Material Requirements – VALVES: − Gate valves (12” and smaller) shall meet AWWA C509-Latest Edition or AWWA C515-latest edition − Valve Accessory/Fastening Kits, consisting of: Armor Tip Conductivity Mechanical Joint Gaskets (no lead), glands, and bolts are not to be furnished with the valve. o See RFQ “VALVES (BUTTERFLY VALVES AND VALVE ACCESSORIES)” for Valve Accessory/Fastening Kit bids. − Valve Adaptors are not to be furnished with the valve (Adaptor Inc. valve adaptors, or equal). o See RFT “VALVE BOX ADAPTORS” for Valve Box Adaptor bids.
