This includes vegetation removals and site clearing, along with site preparation, erosion control, excavation, grading modifications, and the protection of historic artifacts. New construction will include the continuation of the Riverwalk bituminous trail, as well as new concrete paving for walks, landings and staircase with footings for public water access. In addition, new construction of a gravel surface parking lot, loop road and natural surface trails are included, as well as new construction for a wooden staircase, trash pad with wooden fence, and the creation of new and relocated campsites with site amenities. The procurement and installation of a prefabricated picnic shelter, plus two kiosks with web-based design assistance and interpretative signage is also included. Lastly, providing new electrical service to the climber's hub, along with the installation of site furnishings, landscaping and associated stormwater utilities will be constructed.
