The consulting firm will then propose several options for a single family, owner-occupied residential development. One option for a 16 lot development is attached. The Town desires to remove the existing cul-de-sac on Canterbury Street, requiring modifications to existing residential driveways/lawn at the cul-de-sac, and extend the road to Woodycrest Drive at the intersection with Middle Drive. The Town intends to retain ownership of the extension of Canterbury Street and the drainage system(s). Once the Town selects an option for the residential development, the consulting firm will prepare drawings for the subdivision, which will require permits from the East Hartford Inland-Wetlands Commission and the Planning and Zoning Commission, which will start operating as combined commissions in July 2025.
