Bastrop County is requesting a quote for traffic control services based on a daily and/or a weekly rate. The awarded contract will be valid for one year. The Bastrop County Road and Bridge Precincts (Precinct #1, Precinct #2, Precinct #3 and Precinct #4) do not guarantee a specific number of days or weeks that the awarded bidder will be called upon to provide traffic control services to Bastrop County. When Bastrop County requests these traffic control services from the contracted vendor, the awarded contractor shall: • The contract for the requested traffic control services will be based on a work order system. The awarded contractor shall provide Bastrop County with a written estimate (based on the daily and/or weekly rate submitted in response to this request for bid) for the requested project. After the contractor provides a written estimate for the requested project, Bastrop County will issue a purchase order for the specific project requested by the Road and Bridge Commissioner and the purchase order will be considered the Notice to Proceed. • Contractor may NOT completely close any Bastrop County roadway without prior written authorization of the Bastrop County Road and Bridge Commissioner in which the project site is located.
