The targeted outcome of this training is to provide entry-level skills that are valued by the heavy highway industry. Specifically, the effort will focus on providing career pathways and training to historically underrepresented populations that include minorities, women, and disadvantaged individuals. Identify individuals and enroll eligible participants into a highway skills training. Actively connect participants with employers to learn about career options available within the highway construction/transportation industry leading to sustainable employment upon successful program completion. Case Management of students during recruiting, enrollment and up to 2 months after graduation Target Groups: This project will focus on middle skill occupations within the heavy highway construction industry including laborers, operators, and maintenance workers. The cumulative total number of eligible participants estimated to be served ranges from 15 ? 30 individuals Deliverables include: Quarterly Reports, Federal Fiscal Year End Report
