INDOT anticipates needing four (4) Engineers. One to be the lead project engineer overseeing the entire project and making all final decisions. The Second engineer will be designated as office engineer handling 100% of all the normal project paperwork keeping office records up to date, including but not limited to material records, Change Orders, Notice of Changing Conditions, Claims and all things Site Manager. The third engineer will be 100% dedicated to ESC (Erosion and Sediment Control Activities) oversight, including but limited to, Quality Adjustment Enforcement, Inspection, Inspection Reviews and Approvals, etc. The fourth engineer will be 100% dedicated to all things related to Maintenance of Traffic Operations, including daily MOT reviews, reviews / approval of weekly temp. traffic control devices, etc. Three (3) full time project supervisor, three (3) full time Senior project inspector, five (5) full-time inspectors (April ? November) for all construction seasons and four (4) part-time inspectors (May ? August) as workload requires over the course of this contract. The selected firm shall provide personnel local to the project site such that neither commuting nor lodging expenses are incurred. The consultant?s personnel shall work under an INDOT Area Engineer. INDOT will control the hours and staffing of these personnel who may be required to work during the winter season, work up to 12 hours per day, and/or work at night.
