SECTION 2: SCOPE OF REQUESTED SERVICES The Consultant may be expected to perform a variety of Airport Engineering and Architectural tasks including but not limited to: • Development of federal grant applications for FAA-eligible projects. • Host meetings with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), TSA and Airport staff on design and security related issues. • Coordinate projects through the Contract Administrator, airport staff, tenants impacted from development, and when needed, the Salem Federal Contract Tower Manager. • Architectural design and Construction Administration services for airport capital improvement projects. Possible projects are likely to include runway, taxiway and apron pavement reconstruction and rehabilitation, taxiway realignments, and similar projects as identified in the annual Capital Improvement Program submitted annually to FAA.
