On behalf of the University of Massachusetts Boston (UMass Boston), UMass Boston’s Office of Environmental Health and Safety Office (OEHS) is seeking proposals for the following scope: Lab packing and disposal of waste (hazardous and non-hazardous) on a quarterly basis, or more frequently, from up to three main accumulation areas on campus Emergency response for any part of the UMass Boston facility. Environmental services which MAY include: Bulk disposal of facility wastes. Training - must provide annually required training including, but not limited to 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher training, EPA generator training and DOT training at no expense for up to seven UMass Boston personnel. Laboratory decommissioning. Compressed gas cylinder management/disposal. Regulated medical waste/sharps disposal. Acid neutralization tank cleanouts. Laboratory wastewater piping cleanouts. Catch basin inspection and cleaning. Oil-water separator cleanouts. Grease trap cleanouts. Other environmental services
