Longer-term role, example duties: • Oversee design and construction services and manage payment of subcontractors and requirements of HCD o Specific duties would be outlined during contract negotiation and be in alignment with HCD requirements • Operate the program as permanent supportive housing (may subcontract for property management or services but need to identify that plan up front for the application) o HCD examples: Permanent Supportive Housing – example requirements: Accepting referrals from County sources, primarily coordinated entry in coordination with BHRS Managing the property in accordance with all regulatory agreements Overseeing all lease-up activities and ensuring occupancy on an ongoing basis Ensuring the ongoing safety and security of residents, site, and the surrounding areas Coordinating closely with service providers to support health and stability of residents Maintaining close communication with neighbors and neighborhood associations, local law enforcement and first responders, and other stakeholders to ensure prompt resolution of any concerns or issues Operating the program in a trauma-informed manner aligned with the principles of harm reduction and housing first o Specific operating tasks and functions will be determined in collaboration with the County when developing an operating agreement around on-going services and supports.
