Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment and vehicles required to perform On-Call Flooring Maintenance and Repair Services in various County facilities. Maintenance and repair service projects to be done under this contract will consist of: routine, recurring, and usual work for the preservation or protection of any County owned or operated facility for its intended purpose. Maintenance Service projects should not include any work that is generally considered a public work and is classified as a public work under the Public Contract Code. Services will be for maintenance and repair of carpet, resilient sheet goods, resilient tile, wood floors and flooring to include floor prep and finishing for any replacement of flooring that is part of the maintenance and repair process. The contractor must be familiar with rubberized, vinyl, VCT, or any other synthetic type of hard flooring available in the industry, as well as walk-off mats, broadloom, carpet squares, or any woven, rolled or modular fibrous flooring considered to be standard in the industry as well as all various types of carpet underlayment, sound attenuator, and/or padding.
