This Request for Proposal (RFP) has been issued to enable Northwest ISD to procure electricity and associated services in the deregulated Texas electricity market. NISD seeks to obtain competitive proposals from Retail Electric Providers (“REP”) certified by the Texas Public Utility Commission to provide retail electric service (“Service”) in Texas. The chosen supplier must provide such Service to meet the actual continuous demand at each of the District’s service point to each facility. The qualified REP must be prepared to partner with the District in achieving our cost reduction, energy budget and energy conservation management objectives by providing a high level of customer service, as well as highly competitive electricity services pricing.
