1. Interior Crawlspace/Basement Flooding Mitigation and Repairs From the interior basement, bring in clean fill dirt and build up the crawlspace grade to level to the added cinderblock on the crawlspace retaining wall. Adjacent to the crawl space, on the N side of home, E of the addition, remove and replace rotten floor joists and subfloor in basement where water damaged. 2. Exterior Waterproofing and Water Diversion On the exterior of the N side of the home on the E side of the addition, dig down to the wall down and add a waterproofing membrane down onto the foundation. Extend waterproofing membrane up above one panel of siding. Infill garden bed with clean fill on N side of home, E of the addition. Add a concrete pad sloping away from the home and slope downhill grading away from the to promote movement of water away from the home and such that it does not sit on flattened portion of the driveway. 3. Back Entrance Steps (W side of backyard) Remove existing railings and steps. Install new steps (5) to match existing. Install new handrails. Install new guards if necessary. 4. Back Patio Steps (E side of backyard) Remove existing railings and steps. Install new wooden steps (5) to match existing. Install new handrails. Install new guards if necessary. 5. Fire Alarm and Carbon Monoxide Detectors Install wireless smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors on each dwelling floor and in all bedrooms. If already existing, ensure they are functioning.
