This contract will be for the printing, binding, packaging, and delivery of Trailblazer books for three (3) years, plus the option to extend for two, one-year periods of time, for a maximum term of 5 years. In addition, the selected vendor will print the RTD maintenance book on an as needed basis. SCOPE OF ANTICIPATED SERVICES To provide RTD with printing of the Trailblazer book required for bus and rail operators with each service change. The Trailblazer book is a publication that encapsulates operator requirements, safety and vehicle information, route diagrams, travel instructions, and other essential elements. The Trailblazer is updated and printed three (3) times per year for 3 defined service changes that activate in January, May, and August. RTD requires the spiral binding of Twenty (20) Trailblazer books with each printing for distribution to RTD Dispatch, Street Supervision, and Transit Police for the express purpose of (360 degree stay-put) accessibility to book contents during emergency situations. In addition to the Trailblazer Publication, the RTD Vehicle Maintenance publication, which provides operators and RTD training department with equipment-specific technical information and instructions for operating equipment is updated and printed on an as-requested basis currently averaging once every five years...
