Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project scope requires the Contractor to perform a full-depth rail reconstruction in the vicinity of the Kalamath Rail Crossing located within Denver Downtown.; a) The contractor shall completely reconstruct approximately 865 linear feet of the doubletrack section, including the Kalamath St. rail crossing. The construction work includes but is not limited to: (1) the removal and disposal of existing tracks, concrete paving, e-clips, other track material (“OTM”), ties, and ballast; and (2) reconstruction of the Track, including excavating to the existing sub-ballast, conducting sub-ballast condition assessment and mitigation if necessary, placing new geotextile fabric, new ballast, new concrete ties, setting new 115 RE rail, new e-clips, and new flangeway filler, placing concrete for embedded trackway paving, and installing Precast Concrete Panels with concrete leveling pads for the Kalamath St. crossings
