Kingston Access Trash/Litter Services: The contractor shall provide trash/litter removal services as specified below bimonthly between April 1 through September 30, and one time per month between October 1 and March 31, or as directed by the Department. a. Remove liter from parking lots and ten feet beyond. b. Animal carcasses must be placed at least 50' away from open ground. c. Notify the Department's representative when large items, tires, or hazardous materials have been dumped on the area. The contractor must dispose of litter in a manner consistent with all applicable rules, regulations, etc. promulgated by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. If the contractor utilizes a landfill outside of the State of Missouri, the contractor must use a government regulated and approved facility for the disposal of solid waste. The contractor shall be responsible for all permits, fees, and expenses related to the disposal of litter collected. The contractor is not required to remove large items, tires, or hazardous materials. Large items shall be defined as items that cannot be taken apart and placed in a fifty-five (55) gallon bag. The contractor will notify the Department's representative within two (2) days when large items, tires, or hazardous materials are found on the area.
