The City of Covington is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide the following services: • Utility Pole Inspections • Pad Mount Transformer Inspections • Joint Use Pole Audit • NESC Safety Audits • Hourly Engineering Services The goal is to ensure the safety, compliance, and operational efficiency of our utility infrastructure by performing thorough inspections and audits of utility poles, transformers, and other related equipment. The awarded vendor will work closely with our electric department to provide accurate, reliable, and timely services. Conduct visual and physical inspections of utility poles to identify defects, damage, safety issues, and compliance with industry standards and local regulations. The City of Covington’s system includes 14,000 poles, of which 2,800 will be required to be inspected annually.
