1.1 The Contractor agrees to furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, necessary equipment, and other utilities and facilities for, perform all work necessary for or incidental to, and perform all other obligations imposed by this Agreement for, the complete Work in connection with WS # 1 FEED CABLE/CONDUIT UPGRADE – WELLS 2&4 (#2025-MA-W022), herein called for, all in strict accordance with the Contract Documents as prepared by Town Engineer of Mount Airy, acting as and entitled the Engineer in this Agreement. 1.2 The Contract Documents comprise the entire Agreement between Owner and Contractor and are incorporated in this Agreement and made a part hereof. The Contract Documents may only be altered, amended, or repealed as described below: (a) The Contract Documents may be amended to provide for additions, deletions and revisions in the Work or to modify the terms and conditions thereof in one or more of the following ways: i. a formal Written Amendment, ii. a Change Order, or iii. a Work Change Directive. (b) In addition, the requirements of the Contract Documents may be supplemented, and minor variations and deviations in the Work may be authorized, in one or more of the following ways: i. a Field Order (agreed upon by both parties), ii. Engineer’s approval of a Shop Drawing, or iii. Engineer’s written interpretation or clarification.
