The City of Fairhope is seeking to procure and install sixteen (16) 12’ x 24’ Offset T-Hip Canti Shade Structures at Volanta Sports Park. The Shade structures will be installed in already existing concrete pads. Shade Specifications: Manufacturer: Shade Structures, Inc. d/b/a USA Shade Model: T Cantilever Single Size: 24’ Length x 12’ Width (post side) Material: Shadesure™ Fabric Color: Royal Blue Pole Specifications: Poles shall be engineered by USA Shade for the installation of these specific shade structures. Installation Specifications: 1. Concrete slabs are in place. 2. All anchor bolts set in new concrete (when applicable) shall comply with ASTM F-1554 Grade 55 (Galvanized). 3. All non-shrink grout shall have a minimum 28 days compressive strength of 5,000 psi and shall comply with the requirements of ASTM C109, ASTM C939, ASTM C1090, ASTM C1107, when applicable. 4. For spread footing, edge of column or anchor bolts shall be set at least 12” from the edge of spread footing edge. 5. Spread footing allowed to be rotated as required. 6. Installation shall be done per USA Shade requirements to satisfy warranty requirements. 7. Bidding Contractors shall field verify all conditions prior to submittal.
