Specifications include, but are not limited to:. Mowing Riverview Park and Sports Field Common Areas. All mowing tasks-initiated shall be completed during the same working day. Locations with large turf areas may be split between multiple days (upon approval), however, any section where mowing is initiated must be completed (mowing, edging, and hard surface sweeping) during the same working day. Summer Lawn & Sports Fields Common Areas. Lawn areas shall be mowed and edged to an even height, not to exceed one and one half (1½) inches. Uneven cuts, scalping and varying heights will be considered unsatisfactory to City standards. The Contractor may be penalized up to the full cost of the mowing plus a re-inspection fee for each occurrence. The City may request additional mows due to unusual growth. Sports Field Common Areas Special Provision. Mowing of all sports fields common areas shall be scheduled and completed Monday through Thursday. The City may request additional sports field common area mows due to unusual growth or programmed use.
