1. Full Demolitions consisting of the following: a. Contractor needs to be a certified drilling company b. Above grade structures, including hydro tanks and unattached items inside well house, concrete pads, and exterior power poles, demolished and removed from site. c. All 811 Locates are the responsibility of contractor. d. Buried utilities left cut off below grade. e. Permanent abandonment of wells, as described in the Rules Governing Public Water Systems; 15A NCAC 02C .0013 ABANDONMENT OF WELLS (see form and full text of statute below) i. (b) water supply wells ii. (d) monitoring wells f. Sites left graded, seeded, and strawed. g. Means/method of disposal of materials demolished from site is responsibility of contractor. h. Contractor is to submit NCDEQ Well Abandonment Form for each well on site(s) and provide to Owner no later than 2 weeks after date of abandonment.
