The work to be done, in general, shall include furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals, unless otherwise specified, to maintain and complete the project in compliance with the Specifications and to the satisfaction of the Administrator. The project involves weed abatement including hand work by mechanical means and / or mowing to clear Canal Reach’s fence-line and open space areas on approximately Thirty-Six (36) Canal Reach’s. More specifically approx. Sixty-Five (65) acres of area of the Riverside Public Utilities Water Department’s Gage Canal sites located in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. Canal Reaches are approx. fifty (50’) to hundred (100’) wide by five hundred (500’) to fifteen hundred (1500’) in length. Work shall be performed as needed on a quarterly basis, up to four times a year, as more particularly described in Part 3 of these Special Provisions.
