• Develop search criteria that incorporates the District’s goals and the leadership characteristics the BOE and community consider requisite for success • Gather input from key stakeholders—including board of education members, • Brookfield Public Schools administrators, teachers, staff, community organizations, and residents—to assess the district’s needs, goals, and priorities. This feedback will help define the essential qualifications and attributes for candidates. • Demonstrate a candidate identification process that identifies a diverse pool of highly qualified and competent candidates in districts with a similar achievement and community context, reflecting a familiarity with our students’ needs • Generate a position description with desired qualifications • Develop an application process for the position • Advise BOE regarding identification and assessments of candidates • Assist the BOE in preparing for and conducting interviews by developing questions and evaluation forms • Prepare written summaries of the qualifications and experience of candidates presented for interview • Assist the BOE in negotiating a contract with the selected candidate
