UTA is seeking information regarding construction audit services from interested parties as defined in this RFI document. This is an opportunity for interested parties to assist UTA in better understanding the marketplace and/or specific subject matter. UTA will contract with a general contractor to construct a new administrative building and a bus parking expansion including a canopy in Ogden, Utah. It is anticipated that the project will bid autumn 2025 with construction starting late 2025 or early 2026. The contract will be based on fixed costs and current estimates that will cost up to $25,000,000. The project will be federally funded. We seek a highly qualified and specialized auditor to audit the general contractor’s performance against the contract starting with the construction phase through finalization of the project. The Capital Services and Internal Audit departments are jointly sponsoring this procurement, and the project manager is supportive.
