This project involves the rehabilitation of existing water, sewer, stormwater, and roads throughout a Low to Moderate Income area. The project includes the trenchless rehabilitation of approximately 9,300 LF of clay gravity sewer pipes and brick manholes that were installed in the 1960’s to prevent failure due to deterioration. The project also includes the installation of approximately 14,000 LF of new 6” water main to improve existing customer water supply reliability and fire flow protection coverage. The new water main will be replacing approximately of 500 LF of deteriorated 6” asbestos cement (AC) water main and approximately 13,500 LF of undersized 2” PVC water distribution lines where there is currently no fire flow available and there is low pressure at peak flow times. The project also includes rehabilitating approximately 2.4 miles of roadways and installing the 10th Street stormwater improvements.
