A. Bed Maintenance 1. Site visit twice annually for weeding. B. Spring Clean-up and Fall Clean-up 1. Clean all beds of debris, leaves, and rake material with removal. 2. Trimming all shrubbery, perennials, and pruning of trees as needed. 3. Removal of all dead plant material from site. 4. Apply organic treatments to shrubs, perennials and grassy plants. C. Mulching Beds / Playgrounds 1. Redefine existing beds. 2. Remove excess mulch from Site. 3. Delivery & installation of hardwood root mulch (Natural Grade Material) on all beds and tree rings 2" thick. 4. Delivery & installation of certified playground mulch as needed annually. D. Lawn Fertilization 1. Apply organic lawn fertilization to grass acreage as needed. Areas to be in consultation with Facilities Manager. E. Lawn Seeding (Fall) 1. Double aeration of lawn area. 2. Apply necessary lbs. of seed (tall fescue seed blend). 3. Apply necessary lbs. of organic starter fertilizer at recommended rates. 4. Apply necessary lbs. of limestone. F. Weed Control Application 1. Applying weed control as needed in conformity with public school chemical regulations.
