• Contractor must furnish a dump truck (10 Cubic yard minimum) and loader. • The gravel will come from state gravel pits approximately 10 miles away from the project site. The project supervisor will direct the Contractor which gravel pit to take from. It is anticipated that most of the gravel will be utilized from the School Forest gravel pit. • Gravelling shall be done only when the roadbed is sufficiently dry and compact that no rutting or displacement will occur. • Locations of spot graveling will be marked with lath by the State. • No work shall commence on the contract until Contractor receives Notice to Proceed. • Before contract work commences, the Project Supervisor will meet with the Contractor to review performance standards. • All work shall be completed to the satisfaction of the Project Supervisor. • Contractor shall furnish all necessary transportation, equipment, fuel, labor, tools, supplies, and all else necessary to complete work. • Contractor shall be responsible for posting work sites with appropriate warning signs to protect the traveling public. • Project must be completed before August 31, 2025.
