REMOVAL OF TREES 1. All trees and other woody vegetation shall be removed inside the pond's fence, around any Outlet Control Structure (OCS), the pond’s dam, and any other area around the pond identified by Gwinnett County. 2. Trees shall be cut flush to the ground, and the stumps are to remain. 3. All trees, limbs, mulch, and other tree debris shall be removed and properly disposed of at no additional cost to Gwinnett County 4. Excluding cypress and leelands trees as specified by a Gwinnett County representative. B. PUBLIC AND PRIVATE PROPERTY DAMAGE 1. The contractor shall be responsible for repairing or replacing private and county property damaged during the tree removal at no additional cost to Gwinnett County. 2. Any public or private property damage shall be reported to the Gwinnett County Representative immediately. 3. Timber mats or other ground protective mats shall be used to access the ponds in Residential or Commercial areas at no additional cost to Gwinnett County. 4. The contractor shall treat any disturbed areas with grass seed and wheat straw at no additional cost to Gwinnett County. C. POND ACCESS 1. A fence with a locked gate encircles all the ponds on this contract. The Gwinnett County Representative will give the awarded contractor access to the ponds. 2. If the awarded contractor needs to remove a section of the fence to perform the duties of this contract, the contractor shall obtain written permission from the Gwinnett County Representative before removing the fence. 3. If the contractor removes a section of the fence, the contractor shall repair/replace the removed section to the satisfaction of the Gwinnett County Representative at no additional cost to Gwinnett County
