The Belknap County Department of Corrections is seeking proposals from qualified providers for clinical healthcare, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services, and mental health care services for the inmate population at the county jail. The selected provider shall offer physician services guided by: o National Commission of Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) standards o Policies and Procedures of Belknap County Department of Corrections o Current standards of medical practice; The selected provider shall: 1. Document all services provided in the inmate medical record. 2. Review and re-evaluate cases requiring ongoing medical, mental health, or pharmaceutical attention. 3. Provide clinical MAT services, including buprenorphine prescription. 4. Provide mental health assessments, crisis intervention, and ongoing treatment for inmates with psychiatric disorders. 5. Provide mental health educational groups for inmates to promote well-being and coping strategies. 6. Provide health educational groups for inmates to improve their understanding of medical care, preventive health, and wellness strategies. 7. Provide medical services from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. every day, including weekends and holidays. 8. Provide mental health clinical services in person for a total of 40 hours per week, including holidays. 9. Participate in facility committees and meetings with the Superintendent. 10. Oversee the Quality Assurance Program, establishing standards and audit criteria.
