Pre-demolition removal and disposal as asbestos containing hazardous waste of the following materials that contain greater than 1% asbestos: as listed in the Pre-Demolition Hazardous Material Inspection Report, dated 4/28/22, attached. A) Stabilization of all chipping and peeling paint on the interior and exterior of the building, including sheet lead on the roof. B) Removal of fluorescent light tubes for recycling for PCB’s and mercury C) Removal of all un-designated ballasts as PCB and disposal as hazardous materials D) Proper handling of all other hazardous materials Products, Setup and Security A) All poly used must be fire retardant. i) Minimum 4 mil poly is required for the walls ii) Minimum 6 mil poly is required for everything else, including critical barriers B) Exterior ground will be protected with 10 mil poly at least 10 feet from all exterior walls and fences for any structure that has chipping or peeling paint. C) A recording manometer will be utilized for each containment D) The Contractor is responsible for the security of each address and the dumpsters.
