Room 105 is need of interior repair and painting maintenance due to damages to wall and from normal wear and tear. A. Wall Repair 1. Surfaces to be painted such as the walls and door jambs shall be cleaned and prepared in accordance with surface preparation specifications of SSPC and the paint manufacturer’s instruction and recommendation. 2. Damaged areas, where the bulletin board and drapes were, and other areas, shall be properly scraped, patched, sanded, and primed to match existing surfaces. 3. Temporary barriers shall be installed at all work areas to contain dust and debris. Barriers, floor protection, and dust mats shall be placed and maintained throughout the duration of the project. B. Painting 1. Apply two coats of finish paint that match or closely match the existing paint. 2. Use paint that are low odor or odorless. 3. Paint shall be roller-applied using paint manufacturer’s recommendation. Spray application is not allowed. 4. Brush-outs with color name and tint formula shall be submitted for records.
