The Orange County Corrections Department (OCCD) administrative offices and Jail Complex are located at 3723 Vision Blvd, Orlando, Florida and is a department of Orange County Government, reporting to the Mayor of Orange County and the Board of County Commissioners. The Contractor shall provide perimeter entrance point security and screening services at the Orange County Corrections Department Jail Complex as well as provide intake and detention services for juveniles delivered by law enforcement to the Orange County Juvenile Assessment Center located at 823 West Central Blvd. Orlando, Florida 32805. The Manager/Major of the Security Operations and Support Division, or their Designee will serve as the Administrator of the Security Officers Contract. The OCCD Senior Contract Monitor is assigned to monitor and maintain ongoing communication and oversight with the contractor and with assigned Security Operations staff to effectively monitor and manage the contract. The Contractor shall provide for all aspects of the security guard services and meet minimum requirements of the Florida Model Jail Standards, Florida Corrections Accreditation Commission, National Commission on Correctional Health Care Accreditation, Prison Rape Elimination Act Standards and the Department of Juvenile Justice 63H.
