1.1 General Specifications 1.1.01 Contract vendor may provide vehicles and equipment to include, but not be limited to: lawn mowers, skid steers, utility vehicles, subcompact tractors, compact tractors, full size tractors, and grounds equipment. 1.1.02 All small engine, utility vehicle, and outdoor power equipment shall meet current applicable OPEI standards. 1.1.03 All riding equipment shall comply with current applicable ASABE and OSHA standards for rollover protection. This equipment shall comply with current applicable ANSI standards, as related to operation on slopes. Provide documentation that certifies rollover compliance for riding equipment, if offering these types of vehicles. Place after Tab 2e. 1.1.04 Low-speed vehicles shall meet the current applicable NHTSA standards. 1.1.05 Riding mowers/equipment, walk behind mowers, skid steers, and utility vehicles shall meet current applicable ANSI standards. 1.1.06 Petroleum based powered equipment shall comply with current applicable EPA emissions standards. 1.1.07 Contract vendor shall provide members with manufacturer’s operation and parts manuals. Manuals may be provided in paper, electronic, or via online formats. 1.1.08 Manufacturer or contract vendor equipment safety videos may be provided. Provide pricing in the pricing workbook. 1.1.09 Contract vendor may provide hands-on or classroom training for any equipment or vehicle type. Provide pricing in the pricing workbook. 1.1.10 Contract vendor may provide equipment and vehicles powered by alternate power sources to include, but not be limited to: batterypowered, biodiesel, hybrid, fuel cell, hydrogen, and compressed natural gas. 1.1.11 Contract may provide battery charging station accessories to include, but not be limited to: additional batteries, charging cables, and standalone recharging stations. 1.1.12 Contract vendor may provide equipment and vehicles that are used, reconditioned, or refurbished. Equipment and/or vehicle status and warranty information shall be provided when quoting the member. 1.1.13 Rental equipment may be offered under an awarded contract. Provide a copy of any rental agreement, if applicable after Tab 4b, and include pricing in the pricing workbook.
