1. Develop a plan for the fireworks display and present it to the County Event Team for approval; 2. Purchase materials and supplies for fireworks display; 3. Secure delivery of fireworks no more than forty-eight (48) hours in advance of the July 4th Event each year of the contract; 4. Fireworks shall not be stored on County property and must adhere to the applicable laws including but not limited to Section 5608: Fireworks Display of the International Fire Code (IFC) 2021 ed, as may be amended. 5. Secure all necessary permits from the Fire Marshal, Los Alamos Community Development Department, and any other entities as required by law, applicable codes, and regulations; 6. Protect the health and safety of the public or any person or persons using or occupying Overlook Park in White Rock, and minimize danger from all hazards to life and property. Awarded contractor shall take all reasonable precautions in connection with its Services and shall comply with all health, safety, and fire protection rules, laws, regulations, and requirements of the County and any other pertinent regulatory body. County reserves the sole right to determine if circumstances warrant cancellation of an event or exhibit, or if an alternate event may be substituted.
