Razor Wire Removal and Installation For Department of Corrections Potosi Correctional Center 2.1 General Requirements: 2.1.1 The contractor shall remove and install razor wire for the Department of Corrections, Potosi Correctional Center, in accordance with the provisions and requirements stated herein and to the sole satisfaction of the department. 2.1.2 The contractor shall either provide the services directly or shall provide a person/personnel who must comply with the requirements stated herein. Therefore, references to “the contractor” throughout this document shall also be deemed to include the person/personnel provided by the contractor. 2.2 Technical Requirements: 2.2.1 The contractor shall remove and install approximately 5,020 feet of razor wire for the Potosi Correctional Center in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended installation requirements to the full satisfaction and acceptance of the Department. 2.2.2 The contractor must furnish all necessary tools and equipment needed to remove the existing razor wire and to install the new razor wire. 2.2.3 The contractor shall coordinate a work schedule with the Department designee listed in section 1.5.1 for minimal disruption to normal state business occurring at the same time. 2.2.4 Razor wire shall be snipped at gate entry at the facility’s direction. 2.2.5 The contractor shall clean up all debris accumulated during the removal and installation of the razor wire and shall remove all accumulated debris including the old razor wire and remove it from the premises. 2.2.6 Once the new razor wire is installed, the contractor must make any necessary adjustments required to ensure the razor wire has been properly installed. 2.2.7 Installation should be completed by close of business on Friday, May 30, 2025, in order to meet the State’s end of fiscal year deadline.
