Minnesota Management and Budget (“the State” or “MMB”) is soliciting proposals from qualified Vision Benefits plan administrators (“Responders” hereafter) to provide full-service Vision Benefits Plan administrative services for its self-insured dental benefits; The State seeks to contract with an exceptional and innovative vendor for a vision benefits plan for vision hardware and contact lens coverage for eligible State employees and their dependents. The vendor will be an active contributor to the State’s integrated team of benefits program leaders and service providers. Work collaboratively to integrate the vision benefit with the state’s other employee benefit programs. Strategically work with SEGIP, its vendors, and participating unions to improve employee health and to reduce health costs where possible by participating in occasional integrated benefits meetings and health fairs with other SEGIP vendors. Provide Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA accessible website, mobile and online services, customer support, and educational tools and materials tailored to the culture and needs of the state and its employee population. Provide state-of-the-art content for state agency websites and other communication channels that can be branded and edited by SEGIP. Collaborate with SEGIP to distribute content.
