Minneapolis Employment and Training utilizes community-based, culturally-informed strategies to provide services that are accessible to diverse job seekers in Minneapolis. Providers selected through this competitive RFP must have the capacity to provide the following types of services over the term of the 2026-2028 Eligible Provider List period: • Outreach to adult and/or youth job seekers, particularly those who face barriers in the labor market; • Program eligibility determination; • Assessments of job seekers’ interests, knowledge, abilities, skills, and/or training needs; • Client/Participant/Job seeker career planning, case management and wrap-around services; • Employer engagement leading to job placement and advancement opportunities; • Job placement assistance for participants; and • Employment retention services and follow up services.
