The Metropolitan Transportation Authority, its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, the “MTA”), hereby solicits technical and cost proposals from firms that specialize in providing robust, and scalable cloud-based Electronic Project Record Management software tool. The MTA is seeking a secure, scalable, cloud-hosted, fully supported, highly available, easily configurable, and auditable Electronic Project Record Management software tool to assist in managing the MTA’s multi-billion-dollar capital program across entire project lifecycles, primarily focused on the design and construction phases for approximately 1,200 active capital projects. The application will need to support and track over 5,000 users (in-house staff agencywide, and personnel from design firms and general contractors) through the typical workflow of design and construction activities and allow for sharing, collaborating and communicating the data produced (e.g., design/construction submittals/approvals, contractor and formal requests for information, daily reports/checklists). The selected vendor will supply technical and user training, maintain and update software, and demonstrate the ability to convert and preserve current MTA data for use in the new application (if applicable). This application shall become one of the critical components of the MTA C&D Project Management Information System (PMIS). Certain components of this system are already in place. The selected vendor product shall be capable of thorough data integration with the systems already in place and have a robust method of data integration such that it will be relatively easy to integrate the system into the future PMIS components, without extensive development effort.
